Stay and Go Horse Racing

Spend a relaxing night at the beautiful Deming House and receive two complimentary tickets for reserved grandstand seating at the Saratoga racetrack for the summer horse racing meet. Available for selected dates during the meet of 2010.

BED, BREAKFAST & BIRDIES

Enjoy a relaxing nights stay at the Deming House, have a delightful full country breakfast in the morning and then enjoy a great day of golf at one or both of the two best courses in the entire area.

You can chose between the challenging Equinox Golf Club (www.equinoxresort.com/thingstodo/golf) with it's magnificent views of the mountain of the same name, or the elegant Manchester Country Club (www.mccvt.com) with it's magnificent, sweeping valley views and fair, but challenging holes. Both courses offer casual dining after your round at restaurants overlooking the courses and if you have any energy left the Deming House can even arrange a set or two of tennis. The Equinox course has been named the #1 course in Vermont by Golfweek magzine and the 45th best resort course in North America by Golf Digest. Manchester CC has been around since 1970 and had a total renovation of it's back nine in 2003 that has resulted in a course recognized as one of the finest in New England.

DEMING HOUSE AND THE LINCOLNS

Come stay with us for one night and receive discounted tickets to tour Hildene, the summer home of President Abraham Lincoln's only surviving child, Robert Todd Lincoln. The estate is magnificently maintained and contains personel effects of both Robert and Abraham as well as an informative film explaining how Hildene came to be. In the spring and early summer the gardens are simply wonderful to stroll through and you can even visit Robert's personel observatory. Docents are on hand to volunteer any information you might need to make your tour complete. This package consists of half price tickets on the weekends and free ones during the week, Sundays thru Thursdays. Two tickets per room.
